Baptisms

Registered parishioner parents of first born children are required and expected to attend a Baptismal preparation session regularly held in church after 10:30 AM Mass on the first Sunday of each month by our deacon, Bernard Wendt. Please call the rectory to sign up. 

Arrangements for baptismal celebrations are made during these sessions.  After having participated in a session for the 1st child, arrangements for baptism of additional children in the family are made by simply calling the pastor.  Baptisms are celebrated on either the third Sunday of any month at noon or during weekend Masses on the last Sunday of any month. The pastor and deacon regularly alternate months for the celebration of baptism.
